This tutorial explains how to create and send a Request for Quote (RFQ) for inventory items listed at USBid.com. Our RFQ process enables you to select multiple parts from multiple suppliers. After specifying a quantity and (optional) target price for each line item you need, USBid automatically e-mails RFQs to each supplier you selected.
Our sophisticated RFQ response system enables suppliers to send you quotes online. You can respond online to all quotes you receive. We also provide an integrated RFQ management system that allows you to track the status - including all online quotes received - of all RFQs you've sent.
The RFQ process begins with a part search. Do the following steps to find the parts you need:
Log in to USBid.com.
Search for the part(s) you need, using our Single Part Search, Multiple Part Search, or BuyList TM upload options.
